The UAG Laptop Case Series was built to deliver rugged protection for MacBook, Chromebook, and Microsoft Surface devices. Designed with impact-resistant materials and tested to military drop standards, these cases provided students, professionals, and enterprise users with slim yet highly durable device protection. The series included single-material polycarbonate shells as well as dual-material hybrids (PC/TPU) for added shock absorption. Key features included reinforced corners, precise cutouts for ports, ventilation, and rubberized feet for stability.
As Senior Product Development Manager at Urban Armor Gear, Trax Designs’ founder led the development of the laptop case line from concept through DFM and mass production. Our responsibilities included CAD modeling, vendor coordination, drop-testing validation, and tooling optimization to ensure consistency across multiple device families and SKUs. The team also managed design refinements for fit, durability, and enterprise usability requirements.
