BladeTap was designed as a multi-function shaving accessory that combines a razor unclogger, blade sharpener, and storage stand into one compact product. By helping users extend the life of their razor cartridges, the product addressed both cost savings and sustainability while improving everyday grooming routines.
Trax Designs partnered with the client from concept through production, transforming a rough idea into a DFM-ready consumer product. Our contributions included industrial design collaboration, mechanical CAD engineering, and product development management. We sourced suppliers, guided the manufacturing process, and ensured the design was optimized for both assembly and scalable mass production.
