Many models featured dual-material construction (PC/TPU) for added shock absorption, along with detachable carabiners for easy carry during active lifestyles.
As Senior Product Development Manager at Urban Armor Gear, Trax Designs’ founder collaborated with designers and engineers to create multiple AirPods case variations. Responsibilities included mechanical CAD development, DFMA optimization, and vendor management, ensuring precise fit, durability, and reliable mass production. The series was validated through drop testing and consumer usability trials to maintain UAG’s performance-driven standard.
