While at Incase, Trax Designs’ founder collaborated with the industrial design team to bring the Textured AirPods Case from concept to production. Our role included mechanical CAD modeling, material evaluation, and DFM refinement, ensuring the Woolenex fabric adhered seamlessly to the polycarbonate base and the case maintained a consistent fit across production runs. We also coordinated with vendors to validate tooling and finish consistency, delivering a product that balanced aesthetics, protection, and manufacturability.
